Hot Shoe Duplex Bubble Level is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile Leveling Device I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a piece of plastic filled with a little oil, so I bought this -- one of the least expensive hot shoe levels from B&H. It has not disappointed. It seems to be reasonably accurate, well made, and the myriad grooves cut into the unit allow the photographer to mount it for taking vertically-framed shots as well as the usual horizontal ones. I have a Manfrotto tripod and ball head that have leveling bubbles, but this is much easier to use. The twin axes give more accuracy than just a single bubble centered in a circle. I STILL think a product like this could be sold for less money (although it IS kind of a specialty product), but all in all, this is a good product at a good price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sharp corners I went for one of the cheaper Bubble levels available, and overall Im satisfied with the Kaiser. It is made of very clear plastic, and is easy to see in either landscape or portrait position. But the corners are very sharp, so watch out for your eye-brows, chest, clothes, or whatever else might come in contact with the nearly glass-hard plastic corners! I guess you get what you pay for! At least Im getting straight horizons!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent level: Spot on I checked this against my full size contractor's bubble level and it was spot on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Reliably I've used these two-axis bubble levels for landscape, studio still life, and macro photography for about twenty years. Quicker, simpler and more accurate than the D800's electronic level. I've always found Kaiser levels to be accurate and easy to read. The green dye does fade over the course of a season (exposure to UV light I think).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact product, Great Price Even though I have a leveling base and a leveling bubble in my tripod head, there have been until now, times when I either did not want to carry the base, and/or when the bubble in my tripod head, was covered up enough by the lens and camera, that it was difficult to see. This little beauty easily solves the problem. Compact, and accurate with the ability to slide this into the hot shoe of your camera easily, AND, two ways, so you can level not only horizontally and L/R, but by changing the mounting, you now get vertically 'level' and L/R alignment. Change is made in seconds. This is not rocket science, but it has already paid for itself in how quickly it mounts, and you are ready to shoot. I would give this 6 stars if I could, it is that good. (And accurate.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My camera will never be without it I am a amature landscape photographer, my main interest is in Pennsylvania Covered Bridges. I finally found a way to keep those structures straight in a frame. Also when doing landscapes of the fall foilage it was really nice to have all those straight horizons. Either horizontal or vertical it does not matter, this little jewel works. The material it is made of is strong and durable something I need getting in and out of a vehicle in some rough terriain. The simplicity of the product is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accurate Checked it out with my pro construction level and they matched perfectly. It's really more than a duplex level. The bubbles visible on the top end and sides can be used to quickly level a ball head clamp.
