The ADAT Digital I/O Option from Kurzweil is an eight-channel, ADAT format digital output and input expansion card for the K2600 series of workstations. Additionally, the card provides separate AES or S/PDIF stereo output (software selectable.)
While the card provides for 24-bit/48kHz output, the ADAT input allows signals to be processed, in real-time, by the internal V.A.S.T. synthesis architecture and KDFX effects engine, turning the k26X into a powerful, eight-channel, real-time controllable signal processor.
Note:
The board needs to be installed by a Factory Authorized Service Center.
The card shares the same physical space as the DIO-26. Therefore, both expansion ports cannot be installed at the same time.
