9 Megapixel Super CCD-HR
The FinePix A920 incorporates Fujifilm's innovative Super CCD-HR sensor, featuring an octagonal pixel design that allows you to capture superb highlights and shadow detail in every picture you take. Utilizing this sophisticated imaging sensor and sensitivity up to ISO 800 at full resolution, the A920 delivers exceptional image quality, accurate details, smooth, attractive skin tones and true to life colors in virtually any shooting conditions.
4x Zoom Fujinon Lens
The A920 features a high quality 4.0x optical zoom Fujinon lens with a focal range equivalent of 39 - 156mm compared to 35mm film. For added range, the camera includes a 7.6x Digital zoom to get a total zoom range of 30.4x.
Picture Stabilization Technology
The camera's Picture Stabilization technology automatically uses professional photographic techniques to help reduce camera shake, freeze subject movement and improve low light background detail. Picture Stabilization utilizes higher sensitivities, up to ISO 800 in the A920, an incredibly high signal to noise ratio, and faster shutter and operational speeds to deliver virtually blur free images where conventional digital cameras cannot.
Intuitive Mode Dial
The FinePix A920 features an ergonomically designed and placed mode dial, so you can quickly select scene position modes using just your thumb.
16 Pre-programmed Scene Modes
The A920 has 16 different easy-to-use scene modes that are easily accessed using the intuitive mode dial, so you'll always get the best possible image without having to make a lot of fine adjustments.
Record Video with Audio
The FinePix A920 provides QVGA quality video recording mode that uses the universally compatible AVI format, and can capture up to 30 frames per second with monaural sound.
Powered by Standard AA Batteries
The Camera is powered by two AA-size batteries and works with either alkaline type disposable batteries or purchase optional NiMH rechargeable batteries that are more economical. There is also an optional AC Power Adapter (AC-3VX) available.
Built-in Memory and Dual Media Slots
The FinePix A920 includes 10MB of built-in memory so you'll be able to begin shooting, right out of the box. Plus the camera memory can be expanded to over 2GB with either xD-Picture Card or the popular Secure Digital (SD) and Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Memory Cards.
