The XLogic Alpha-Link MADI AX from SSL is a fully featured, multi-channel audio converter for studio, live and broadcast applications. The unit provides high-quality twenty-four channel AD/DA converter circuitry to and from MADI and ADAT formats.

The converter features simple front panel controls that offers a comprehensive input/output routing matrix used to set up global connections between the various inputs and outputs, which in turn allows all combinations possible.

The front panel of the unit sports a headphone connector, a comprehensive metering section for the analog inputs and outputs, an AD/DA selection button, mode indicator LEDs, and twenty-four tri-color level LEDs.

The XLogic Alpha-Link MADI AX can be used as a stand-alone format converter, but used in combination with a Soundscape Mixpander PCI card, it provide a powerful and highly flexible input/output solution for native PC-based audio workstations.
