Apple MA878LL/A Overview

The 24" iMac with 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU from Apple is a sleek all-in-one computer that has been designed to meet the needs of video professionals, graphic designers, families, educators, and businesspeople.

The iMac sports a sleek aluminum and glass industrial design, with a matching slimline aluminum keyboard. The built-in iSight camera hides discreetly above the LCD screen, giving you ready access to a webcam for Internet chat and conferencing.

The computer is powered by a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor for superior performance. It boasts 1GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, Airport Extreme Wi-Fi, integrated speakers, and the SuperDrive DVD burner. The glossy 24" widescreen display is powered by ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO graphics with 256MB of GDDR3 memory.

All this hardware runs on Apple's OS X 10.5 Leopard operating system. Leopard features Rosetta technology, which allows you to run legacy applications seamlessly that were written for PowerPC processors, without the need for any complicated emulation software. The iMac is a strikingly elegant computer that will feel at home on virtually any desk.

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
