The Shure SLX4L is a single-channel rackmount wireless receiver housed in a rugged metal chassis. It is compatible with the SLX1 bodypack and SLX2 handheld transmitters, as well as the MX690 boundary and MX890 desktop base transmitters. It offers high-quality, reliable audio to presenters, clergy, lecturers, and performers working in business and educational settings, houses of worship, theaters, or on musical stages.
A logic circuit and associated block connector is provided on the unit's back panel. It is designed to function with software echo cancellers and provide remote monitoring of transmitter battery life. Logic-supported transmitters include the MX690 and MX890.
