This is an Impact VC-500 Three Monolight Kit. This fully equipped kit is centered around three of the VC-500 professional level 500 watt/second monolights. These monolights have many features found on units costing hundreds of dollars more, such as a 6 f/stop power range (full to 1/32) adjustable in 1/10 stop increments, fast recycling time (2 seconds @ full power), and fully adjustable model light level. The VC-500 also features minimal flash color-shift when powering down (~300°K).
The VC-500 also has a feature not found on most other monolights -- a Red Eye Reduction Photocell sync. This feature comes in handy when you are using your on-camera flash at the same time as this kit. This smart photocell feature allows you to set the cell to ignore pre-exposure flashes from your on-camera flash. The system can "learn" the pre-exposure sequence to ensure perfect flash synchronization.
This kit is rounded out with umbrellas, a softbox, light stands,
Mono to PC sync cord, and a wheeled kit case.
