Toshiba SD-K670 Overview

The Toshiba SD-K670 Multi-System DVD Player is a quality DVD (PAL/NTSC) player that offers great features at an affordable price. The SD-K670 features multi-format DVD playback capabilities, ColorStream component video output, and a built-in 3-way 16MB PAL/NTSC video converter. It combines a powerful 192KHz/24-Bit audio DAC and a digital coaxial audio output for Dolby Digital/DTS 5.1-channel surround-sound.

Though it's an excellent DVD player, it can also be used as a CD or MP3 player. You could actually use this player to share your favorite songs and photos with friends and family at your next gathering. In addition, it features a 2 microphone inputs with individual volume and echo controls. Simply plug a microphone into the front panel of the unit and use it for Karaoke, video/audio presentations in your school or office. Simply put, if you're a music lover or home video enthusiast on a budget, the Toshiba SD-K670 answers the call with world-wide versatility and reliability.

Progressive Scan
This is a progressive scan DVD player, capable of scanning an entire video frame at once; scan-lines commonly associated with interlaced video are drastically reduced. The result is a spectacularly clear image with no motion artifacts (stair-stepping), and details so sharp they seem as if they're etched onto the screen.
Built-In Dolby Digital Decoder
With a built in 5.1 Dolby Digital decoder, this player reproduces surround sound fidelity and sonic realism from your DVD soundtracks.
Component Video Output
This player achieves greater color accuracy and high resolution playback capability when connected via the component output to your projector, plasma and/or LCD/CRT televisions.
DivX Home Theater Certified
Video compression software which enables high quality video to be compressed into very small files then downloaded onto CD-R or CD-RW and played back with very little loss of quality.
Dual-Microphone Inputs
