    Panasonic RP-HT21 reviews

RP-HT21 Lightweight Headphones with XBS is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 58.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for general audio I'm not an audiophile nor an audio professional. I bought this headphones to listen music from portable players/smartphones and to replace an old headphones from the same brand. I know that for the price I couldn't expect the same performance of higher priced models but being objective I feel that the build quality is lower than I thought. I feel that I can break the headphones in any moment, and the sound quality is lower than I thought too. The bass is higher than mids/heights and I really don't like the sound for music listening. I give them three stars beacause for the price and for other purposes maybe, this headphones are ok.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Deal In A Disposable Headphone As most of the other reviewers suggest - these are pretty decent headphones. Note that these are foam pad on-ear phones not the ones with a circular cushion that surround the ear. Make no mistake, they aren't great headphones either, but they do get you 70-75% the way to very good ones for a very small price. The bass is quite good for an on ear design, they are relatively flat and the highs are not strident. These are excellent for runners, those who exercise and those who commute or otherwise use headphones in circumstances where they might get lost or broken.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value With Decent Sound I'm super picky about my headphones. I was looking for a budget pair that were easy to replace if they were broken. These headphones are a surprisingly good value because they sound better than a $10 pair of headphones should sound. Good low bass. Decent mids. Not so great highs. They don't sound nearly as good as a set of over ear headphones that are more expensive, but they're only 10 bucks. For 10 bucks, these are a great deal and sound better and are more comfortable than a pair of cheap ear buds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for E-Learning We use these headphones to deliver e-learning on 15 PCs in a training environment. These headphones are more than sufficient for e-learning since reproduction of audiophile quality sound is not the point. For the price, you may not be able to get better sound than what these produce. The only down side I can think of is that the foam pads wear our over a long period of time but they get a fair amount of abuse. I would not hesitate use recommend these headphones for an e-learning application like ours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great deal! For the price, these can't be beat. The sound is decent and the durability feels acceptable. I remember buying headphones that were comparable to these as a boy in the 1980s for at least four or five times the cost. Now 30 years later, with people using earbuds (which always fall out of my ears), or Bluetooth (of which I own a pair), the demand for over-the-head solutions is small. At the price B&H is offering, I've ordered three (shipping is free as well!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight, comfortable, excellent sound, and cheap These are not +$200 Sennheisers, for sure, and the wires are fragile, especially where they attach to the headphone (I usually apply some glue to this joint to strengthen this joint and increase the longevity of the wires - otherwise they will easily shear off at this joint), and the foam coverings are difficult to impossible to replace, but heck, they sound great, and for the price, what's there to complain about.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I have it more than five years ago, and every day is heard better.I have much more expensive headphones and this one has nothing to envy to the others, the sound is very clear, it also has a good bass for its size AZ
