The Maxell BD-R Camcorder Blu-ray Recordable Disc is a write-once, single-sided disc with a 7.5GB capacity that offers the speed and capacity for HD video recording. This disc has a 7.5GB capacity, or 60 minutes of recording time. Blu-ray disc technology uses a blue-violet laser to achieve the capacity necessary for recording digital high-definition content. There is a hard coating that protects the recording surface from scratches, dust and fingerprints. BD-R camcorder discs are designed for use in Blu-ray compatible camcorders, computer drives and video recorders. The disc is packaged in a jewel case.
