They changed the caps on newer models, including my m300 and m600 ultras. Threads about 1/2 a turn on, making the o-ring/waterproof useless. I contacted Surefire and ordered the correct assembly

Will this for the SureFire E1D?

SureFire says it fits: Scout Light WeaponLights; Flashlights with .75 diameter switch, including , E1E-HA, E1B, E1L-HA-WH, E2D-BK, E2DL-BK, E2L-HA-WH, L4-HA-WH. This would also include the E1D LED Defender.
