Will this work for 2 mics going into a Y splitter? I need it to be mute until I push the button to talk. Will it keep both mics off until pushed?
In theory, the Rolls MS111 Mic Switch Latching or Momentary Microphone Mute Switch could affect the summed signal of two microphones in the same manner that it does with a single microphone. You would not have independent control over the microphones with the MS111, however. They would both be affected in the same way if summed before the switch input. When engaged, the latching switch will mute the microphone signal's output until disengaged.

question
Can this be used as a push to talk switch? Wanting to use it at my sound desk to talk to IEM.
yes, it should work perfectly for that. It comes in latching and non-latching so one might fit your situation better than the other...

question
I want to use this as a off switch for a mic I'll be using as a duet mic. I have a vocal pedal that can turn my vocals to sound like a girls and I can switch back and forth between my voice and a female but I can't do a duet sound like on the song Little Talks so I want to have a mic next to my main mic with a switch to mute when I'm on the verse's and on during the chorus. Do you think it'll work for that?
Yes, it would work as I understand your requirement. One thing to remember, as it has no indicator, (e.g. lamp) it can be difficult to see the position in a low light, live sound situation (I find) i.e. is it on or off. I added a small LED so it was clear to see what state it is in.
