The NeXus 50 XM Ready Digital Audio and MP3 Player (Demo) from Samsung allows you to record and play back content that is broadcast via the XM radio service. XM subscribers will be able to use the NeXus to record their favorite programming and take it with them wherever they go. The NeXus can also playback MP3 and WMA from your personal collection or from the Napster music service. The NeXus is a great way for XM Satellite Radio subscribers to record their favorite songs and programming.
Record and Archive XM
The included XM dock and antenna will allow subscribers to that service to listen to XM and record songs and programs to their NeXus. This lets you archive your favorite XM programming on your NeXus player, letting you take it with you wherever you go. The NeXus 50 can hold up to 50 hours of archived programming.
Napster Software Included
The NeXus comes with software that works with the Napster music service. You can opt to subscribe to Napster and have access to their extensive song library or to purchase music from them on a song-by-song basis. The NeXus is also compatible with other PlaysForSure music services.
XM Recording Functions
The NeXus features advanced recording options for XM satellite radio. You'll be able to schedule recordings so you can time-shift your favorite program if you are unable to listen because of work or sleep schedules. You can even start recording a song or program up to 45 seconds after it's started and still capture it in its entirety! A remote control is even included to allow you to easily change stations and start recordings.
MP3 and WMA Compatibility
You can use the included software to copy your personal MP3 and WMA files to the NeXus. This allows you to rip your own CDs so you can enjoy them on your personal digital music player.
Rechargeable Battery
The NeXus features a user-replaceable rechargeable battery. The battery will automatically charge when it is docked in the XM cradle, ensuring that your player will be fully charged after you've used it to listen to and record XM radio.
