Blackmagic Design Multibridge Pro Editing System & Video Converter

The Multibridge Pro Editing System & Video Converter from Blackmagic is an industrial device designed for work with SD, HD, and 2K film in broadcast and post-production work. The device will connect to virtually any signal format, allowing you to work with a large range of hardware devices and expanding the versatility of your setup.

It connects to SDI, HDMI, component analog, NTSC/PAL, and S-Video for capture and playback, with instant switching between SD, HD, and 2K. The unit also features (8) channels of XLR AES/EBU audio input and output and (2) channels of XLR professional analog audio input and output. It is ideal for work with equipment such as Betacam SP, HD set-top boxes, HDV cameras, Digital Betacam, HDCAM, HD-D5, HDCAM SR, and audio mixers, among many other possibilities.

This device also offers built-in 3Gb/s SDI connections, allowing for twice the SDI data rate of normal HD-SDI. Use this feature for 4:4:4 HD with a single BNC connection or use Blackmagic Design's new 2K via SDI for high resolution real-time 2048 x 1556 editing. This technology is fully compatible with SD, HD, and 2K in 4:4:4 or 4:2:2 formats on a single BNC cable.
