The Manfrotto BO055XDB503H is a tripod system consisting of the 503HDV fluid head and the 055XDB tripod. This system builds on the success of the 3011/3021 series, but has been redesigned to offer even better ergonomics of the leg-angle release mechanism, and improved quick action leg locks. While it can reach eye-level working heights, by using the low angle adapter built in to the center column it can also be used extremely low to the ground.
055XDB Tripod
The 055XB provides speedy set up coupled with added security with quick action, lever-type leg locks, low angle adapter and leg warmers. It is ideal for use with 35mm and light medium format photographic cameras, and digital or conventional type video camcorders.
503HDV Fluid Head
The continuously-variable fluid drag system of the 503HDV provides just the right amount of dampening for any shot on your list-from whip pans to slow motion, just dial in drag to touch. This capability in conjunction with the 3-step counterbalance delivers the type of finger-tip camera control normally reserved for much more costly production fluid heads.
