This version of the ETX-80AT has everything you need including a backpack to go hiking or take on any trip. Its light weight and compact design make it an excellent scope for astrophotography. The user has to do the following: point the telescope north, set the time, location, and zips. Once this user friendly procedure has been performed, the telescope will align itself, and find the brightest star in the sky, and you are good to go.
The telescope is equipped with the AutoStar, which makes finding celestial objects extremely easy. It has an extensive library containing more than 1400 sky objects that eliminates the need to learn the sky map.
