PreSonus FireStudio LightPipe - ADAT Lightpipe to FireWire Interface

The FireStudio LightPipe from Presonus is a 32 channel, bi-directional ADAT to FireWire interface, available for both Mac and Windows based computers. As a computer connectivity device, the unit is the perfect solution for digital mixers and analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters that utilize the ADAT Lightpipe interface.

The unit will also allow for digital audio streams up to 96kHz resolution, utilizing the S/MUX protocol. (This will half the channel count on both input and output.) A pair of balanced stereo analog outputs provides monitoring, and along with the included 34x4 DSP matrix software mixer, the FireStudio LightPipe can output two, independent stereo zero-latency monitor mixes.

FireStudio LightPipe features JetPLL jitter elimination technology for ultra-tight synchronization. Fast-acting input/output LED meters are located on the front panel for quick and easy visual monitoring of all signals. A dedicated headphone output with volume control is available from the front panel.

The interface is bundled with the Studio One Artist DAW software for Mac OS X, and Windows and includes 20 PreSonus Native Effects plug-ins and virtual instruments and third-party loops, software and instrument sounds.
