The Fanatsea Nano Fiber Optic Adapter allows you to connect the Fantasea fiber optic cable to the slave port of any Sea & Sea strobe. The use of a fiber optic cable, ensures the best synchronization between the camera's internal flash and the external strobe. This is true even when the strobe is postioned at extreme angles and in various diving conditions.
I use an Olympus underwater housing and Olympus UFL-1 strobe. Using the Nano Fiber Optic adapter along with Fantasea Fiber Optic cable has provided the connection needed for triggering the strobe giving a consistent flash flash result.
Adapter worked very well with the nano flash - only wish B&H would have shipped this adapter when I originally ordered the nano flash bundle. I received a fiber cable that did not have this adapter - had to purchase it separately after wondering why the flash didn't fire reliably. Anyway, good service as usual.
