AM Suite from MAGIX is a collection of sound-design processors plug-ins presented in VST format, making them compatible with any VST-enabled audio products.
The three plug-ins are fully-featured versions of tools already found in both Sequoia and Samplitude, MAGIX's flagship multi-track audio recording/editing software packages.
AM Suite Contents
am-track
Combination of an analog compressor and a tape simulator for tracking and editing individual or subgroup signals
Can be set to function as either a modern or vintage style compressor
When emulating a tape machine, the plug-in adds the typically large, saturated sound characteristics of recording to magnetic tape
am-pulse
A "transient modeler" for editing envelope and sustain characteristics of percussive or other signals with well defined transients
Signal can be subtly "analog-ed" or considerably distorted by modulating the tube saturation and treble exciter sections
am-phibia
Tube amplifier/channel strip plug-in that combines an optical compressor with a pre- and post-filter section
The different filter circuits provided allow the plug-in to be used as a vocal preamp, tube guitar amplifier or to create "warmer" sound characteristics of any input signal
