Structure from Digidesign's A.I.R. (Advanced Instrument Research) Group finally brings back sampler integration to the Pro Tools family, in the form of an RTAS plug-in. Aside from all the usual functions expected from a software or hardware sampler, Structure allows the user to freely and easily create, sculpt and refine in real time, everything from simple acoustic instruments to highly complex soundscapes.
The plug-in includes an extensive library of quality sounds, while allowing for the simple creation of custom libraries via file "drag and drop" directly from inside any Pro Tools session. It also features a universal sound engine with support for an unlimited number of nestable patches, direct from disc sample streaming or RAM playback, along with Pro Tools playback, and includes a comprehensive multi-effects processing engine.
