The Henry Engineering SixMix Broadcast Console is a 6-channel audio mixer designed for radio broadcast applications. The SixMix features a footprint no bigger than a laptop computer, yet its feature-rich functions and audio quality, ensure broadcast quality flexibility and sound.
Ten inputs are provided including two microphone inputs, with each featuring 1/4" phone and XLR connectors. Mic 1 is dedicated to the host while the second microphone is usually assigned to guest speakers. Line inputs are featured on balanced 1/4" phone and RCA inputs for connecting CD players, additional audio mixer, etc.
The intuitive control panel features large level dials and illuminated program and cue controls, to avoid accidental routing during broadcasts. A USB interface provides digital audio transfer to and from computers and a S/PDIF digital output is provided for digital audio transfers to Windows PCs (only). Additional features include a talkback system, provisions for On-Air lights and professional standard audio quality throughout.
