JPEG-2000 (Wavelet Technology)
Based on Wavelet technology, JPEG-2000 has the ability to generate great looking video images while keeping file sizes to a minimum. This means that demanding CCTV environments will get the high resolution images they need to better identify people and objects. At the same they won't have to worry about prematurely running out of hard drive space or getting bogged down in a network traffic jam.
Triplex Operation
With its built-in multiplexer, users can simultaneously record, play back and view live images without adversely affecting video quality or DVR performance.
Network Connection
Live and recorded images can be accessed from a remote location over the Internet. Up to 8 users can simultaneously request network access, with a password protection system determining the level of access for general users and an administrator.
VGA Output
In addition to BNC outputs, this DVR comes equipped with a 15-pin VGA output connector. This will allow video to be displayed in superior quality using a high resolution computer screen or projector.
Built-In DVD Burner
A DVD burner is one of the most important things to have in a DVR. It allows event footage to be quickly transferred to a DVD or CD disc for viewing on a PC.
Motion Detection
A motion detection function, configurable for area and sensitivity, can be assigned to each camera input. Motion detection not only signifies a possible breach in security, but when used to trigger recording, greatly cuts down on storage and network requirements. Needless to say it also makes it much easier to locate a particular event footage.
Audio I/O Ports
Audio from up to four cameras can be recorded along with their video. The ability to see as well as hear an occurrence greatly enhances security performance.
