Characterized by its fine grain, high sharpness, and wide exposure latitude, this ISO 320/26° film also distinguishes itself with notably smooth tonal gradations and brilliant highlights. It is well-suited for portraiture and excels when used with controlled interior lighting or flash illumination, as well as low-contrast outdoor light. Tri-X 320 has a 7 mil-thick ESTAR base, and it can be retouched on either the base or emulsion side of the film.
