The PNOTEPROC6 SurgeArrest Notebook with 3-Pin Connection from APC is a unit designed to provide total protection of your notebook computer and telephone or fax machine. Instead of just protecting your equipment from electrical power surges via power cords, this unit also allows you to connect a telephone line and Ethernet cable for comprehensive protection of all your equipment. Simply place this device between your notebook computer and your power cord, connect your telephone line and network cable, and your equipment is safeguarded.

A failsafe mechanism completely disconnects your equipment from the power source in case of a power surge. The unit also offers noise filtering to minimize EMI/RFI interference that can often cause data errors and keyboard lockups. It comes with a lifetime guarantee and $75,000 worth of equipment protection. This model features a 3-pin connection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Purchase Ever This is my second one of these, I purchased a new one as a power spike took out the surge/battery back up and then the APC Notebook Surge Protector that was plugged into it... redundant protection I know... however the laptop is safe! This is a great little product, and it costs a lot less then replacing your laptop/notebook that's for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for universal laptop chargers! I got this to stick on my Targus universal laptop charger, it (this surge protector) comes with a velcro strap so it can stay securely fastened to the power adapter brick at all times. Also, this surge protector includes protection for wired network which is usually only found in very expensive surge protectors. Be warned, they really wad up the short network cable that comes with the surge protector and jam it in the package -- mine would only work when I held it in a certain position. But I can't take off any stars for that because network cables are dirt cheap anyway. I'm certain I could have called APC and got a free replacment cable (I've had excellent dealings with APC Support with previous products) but I had spare network cables laying around so I just tossed the bad one out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Form follows function ... great size I was looking for something that would get the job done without taking up a lot of room. Size and form are especially important for travel. I have been very satisfied with APC products in the past ...Our weather has been calm, so the surge protection has not been put to that level of a test. However, I'm sure other sources of power surges have most likely been present even if there were no storms in the area. So far, I've had no problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Product These are the greatest thing since sliced bread. I have been using them for five years and just bought another. We spend a lot of time in Kenya where the power supply is all over the place so it is great to have something to protect our laptops. I wish you made a two pin model because I have a power supply with a two pin connector and can't protect it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits the traveler Simple and convenient insurance coverage for laptop power related failure. Also doubles as an ethernet surge when you plug in to mystery networks so you dont have to worry about cooking your onboard NIC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little gadget! I buy these things for all of my family's laptops, except the bigger Dells which use a pin-configuration on the bricks that there isn't an adapter for. Vert

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality, compact, international voltage. Keep it attached to my laptop power supply. Like the small, compact, light weight, 120-240v. Wish it had a USB charger port built in.
