The Astatic 878HL-2 from CAD is a desktop omnidirectional dynamic paging microphone intended for use with commercial paging systems in schools, restaurants, warehouses, medical facilities, and more. The dynamic capsule requires no power source, and its omnidirectional polar pattern provides a generous pickup area. A programmable switch allows push-to-talk or lift-to-talk functionality, and selectable output impedance makes the 878HL-2 flexible for use with most paging systems and amplifiers.
The four-conductor, two-shield cable is 7' in length and unterminated to allow balanced or unbalanced connectivity. With a frequency response of 80 Hz to 12 kHz, its audio output is optimized for vocal transmission. The rugged, molded Cycolac housing and die-cast zinc base maintain durability while remaining lightweight. Its desktop design incorporates four non-skid feet to inhibit slippage and surface marring.Programmable Push-to-Talk Switch
