ART USB Dual Pre - Portable Preamp and USB Computer Interface

The USB Dual Pre from ART is a dual channel, portable preamp as well as a USB 1.1 computer interface, packed into a compact and rugged case. It can be used in a wide variety of applications, from remote field recording to desktop/studio tracking.

Each of the input channels has up to 48dB of clean gain with visual feedback provided by signal present and clip LED indicators. The unit can supply 48V phantom power even from the USB bus. In addition to the USB bus, the preamp can be powered from a 9V battery, or via an included external power supply.

For monitoring, a rear-mounted, stereo mini 1/8-inch TRS headphone jack with level and monitor mix controls, allows for latency free local monitoring of the inputs while recording, as well as playback monitoring of the USB bus. The monitor mix is also routed to the 1/4-inch TRS balanced outputs.
