Toshiba Qosimo G45-AV690 Overview

The Qosimo G45-AV690 Notebook Computer from Toshiba is a desktop replacement notebook PC that is perfect for anywhere that desktop space is scarce. It will help you get the most out of your digital devices, whether you are working with photos from your digital camera, making a home movie with your digital video camera, or organizing music on your MP3 player.

The Qosimo comes with software such as the Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5 for DVD creation, and Microsoft Works 9.0 for productivity applications. You can use the FireWire-400/iLink port to capture digital video from a camcorder. You can easily connect peripheral devices such as digital cameras and MP3 players to the computer via the five installed USB 2.0 ports.

The system is powered by a 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T9300 CPU and boasts 3GB of RAM, 320GB SATA hard drive capacity, an HD DVD burner, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, wireless Ethernet, a USB HDTV tuner, and a 17" widescreen display powered by nVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics. The Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T9300 CPU is based on an architecture designed specifically for mobile computing; this processor delivers a balanced level of mobile processor technology and exceptional value in this lighter, easier-to-carry notebook PC. The dual-core technology delivers two execution cores in one CPU, giving you better performance than a comparable single-core processor.
Windows Vista Ultimate
The computer comes preloaded with the Windows Vista Ultimate operating system from Microsoft. Vista includes the slick Aero user interface, complete with the Windows Sidebar, gadget support, Flip3D navigation and more. The Ultimate edition of Vista includes the popular Windows Media Center application. This lets your computer more easily connect to your home theater and wirelessly stream media to the Xbox 360 or another compatible media extender device. Ultimate also supports advanced networking tools and includes the BitLocker data encryption tools to protect your sensitive data.
HD DVD Burning
