The FC-10D Composite YC Comb Filter & Transcoder from Comprehensive/Kramer is a bidirectional transcoder designed for use with S-video and composite video signals. This unit is well suited for use in presentation rooms and teleconferencing systems, among many other potential uses.
It will simultaneously convert S-video to composite and vice versa using an adaptive digital comb filter to minimize dot-crawl and cross-color artifacts. The unit allows you to choose between PAL or NTSC formats. Moreover, up to (2) of these units can be mounted side by side in 1U of a standard equipment rack when used in conjunction with the separately available RK-50RN rack kit.
