Sony AC-VQL1BP Overview

The Sony AC-VQL1BP Quad Battery Charger provides professional results when you're on the job and under pressure. The AC-VQL1BP is compatible with the Sony NP-F970, NP-F770 and the NP-F570, along with corresponding camcorders. Charge two batteries simultaneously or four consecutively (two at a time). You can also power two camcorders or power one camcorder and charge one battery simultaneously.

Compared to the AC-VQ1050 the AC-VQL1BP Quad Battery Charger charges 20% faster. When you're charging in full mode (100%) your batteries will charge approximately 30 minutes faster (per battery). When you're charging in normal mode (90%) your batteries will charge 60 minutes faster! And, so you're not left in the dark, the charger's display shows the time remaining for a normal or full charge along with the current time available for shooting.

The AC-VQL1BP also features battery log information. This information tells you the total charging time for each battery, total number of charging cycles and the month and year of last use.

Professional Needs
The AC-VQL1P provides the power you need when you don't have the luxury of waiting all day for your batteries to power up. Charge multiply batteries (2), camcorders (2) or one camcorder and one battery at the same time.

Camcorder Power
You can also provide AC power to your camcorder using the AC-VQL1P. When powering one camcorder you can also charge one battery. In contrast, two camcorders can be powered with AC power, simultaneously, when no batteries are being charged.
Charging Modes
Aside from charging and powering multiple units at once the AC-VQL1BP also features faster charging speeds. In the full charge mode your batteries will be charge to 100 of charging capacity - that's 20% faster (approximately 30 minutes per battery) than the AC-VQ1050 charger. However, when you chose the normal charging mode your batteries will charge to 90% while saving you 60 minutes compared to the full charge mode.
Charging Information
When you're under pressure you need to know how long your batteries are going to take to charge. The exact time in hours and minutes is displayed on the AC-VQL1BP for current available time for shooting, remaining time to complete a normal charge and time remaining to complete a full charge.
Battery Log Information
When a battery is connected to the charger, usage history can be obtained. Total charging time, total number of charging cycles and the month and year of last use can all be provided.
