The VP-503xl Computer Graphics Video Scan Converter from Comprehensive/Kramer is designed for use with computer graphics video signals. It will convert a computer graphics video input signal up to UXGA (1600 x 1200) to composite video or S-video (Y/C) signals simultaneously in PAL or NTSC formats. This unit is well suited for use in multimedia work, corporate settings, video conferencing, or any other setting or application that requires the conversion of graphical data signals to video signals.
It offers AutoTrak Auto Setup Technology, a proprietary feature that allows you to automatically size, center, and shift any input image with one touch of a button. Control settings include parameters for color, sharpness, contrast, and brightness. Other features include (7) built-in test patterns, flicker reduction, multiple memory locations, overscan & underscan, and freeze frame.
It can be controlled via its front-panel interface or RS-232 connectivity. This unit belongs to the Kramer TOOLs family of products and up to (2) of units can be mounted side by side in a standard 19" equipment rack by using the optional RK-3T rack kit.
