The 4TB Ethernet Hard Disk from LaCie is a high-capacity drive that is designed to be used by workgroups over a computer network. It is compatible with a number of different client operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, Linux, and UNIX. Four USB 2.0 ports are available for connecting additional drives to be shared over your network.
The drive can be administered remotely via a web protocol interface; keyboard, mouse, and monitor ports are also available for users who wish to directly administer the drive. It is powered by Windows XP Embedded and allows for up to 25 users to simultaneously access data over its Gigabit Ethernet connection, making this a great solution for small office workgroups.
