The Bogen Communications X300 is a Black Max Series rackmount 70V power amplifier offering powerful, full-range amplification for constant-voltage systems in restaurants, retail stores, offices, and more. Its efficient Class-H amp design delivers 300W to each of the two channels while maintaining low noise and distortion. Per-channel volume control, input sensitivity selection, and 60 Hz low-cut filters allow easy optimization of levels and tone. The 3-pin pluggable terminal strip inputs are electronically balanced, while the 5-pin barrier strip output is transformerless.
Independent variable-speed fans keep the X300 cool even when mounting does not allow for open space above or below the amplifier. Built-in voltage stabilization and multiple protection circuits ensure reliable operation hour after hour. The auto-sleep feature makes this amp ideal for continuously powered systems. Integrated power sequencing for controlling multiple Black Max amps in large systems helps prevent in-rush problems. These features are packed into a heavy-duty steel chassis that occupies just two rack spaces.Ask Our Experts800-606-6969

Bogen X300 Overview
300W per channel at 70V with independent low-cut filters on each input
Low noise and distortion with high slew rate
Highly efficient Class-H amplification driven by a conservatively rated toroidal power transformer
Transformerless direct drive outputs
Electronically balanced high-impedance inputs
Large output heat sinks and dual independently controlled, high-output, variable-speed cooling fans provide reliable cooling and quiet operation while reducing dust accumulation
Internal electronic components are located outside of the forced air stream flow to ensure minimal required maintenance and cleaning
Front-mounted fan filters are easily removed for cleaning
Multiple electronic protections including overcurrent, DC voltage, and thermal circuits
Clip/limiting circuit continuously monitors the amount of distortion in the output signal and reduces input levels as the amplifier approaches clipping
Back-Slope AC voltage stabilization regulates the AC energy supplied from the power toroid to improve system performance and reliability despite varying AC supply conditions
Defeatable energy-conserving sleep mode with instant-on return signal operation reduces wasted heat production in paging systems with intermittent use
Pluggable terminal strip for sequencing wiring in multi-amp installations
Sequential turn-on feature minimizes in-rush current from the AC power mains when multiple Black Max amplifiers are daisy-chained together for sequential turn-on; the first amplifier in the series will control the powering up of the other amplifiers with approximately one second of delay between units
Directly stackable, mounts in two rack spaces without need for extra space above or below

Using this amp to drive two Atlas FS12T's in our High School football stadium. Couple great features but Love how simplistic this unit is. Make sure to check your rack depth before making your purchase! Would purchase again.
