The Audix M1244AHC Micros Series Microphone is a miniature profile, small-diaphragm condenser microphone for capturing instruments in recording and sound reinforcement applications. The M1244AHC measures just 1.96" (50mm) in length and features an integrated preamplifier.
Its wide frequency response and low noise ensures transparent reproduction of percussion, drums, guitar, vocals and much more. The hypercardioid polar pattern features a narrow pickup pattern and is most effective in minimizing feedback. The included 12' cable features a standard XLR connection. A microphone clip, hanging clip, windscreen and pouch are also provided.

The M1245 and M1244 differ in sound pressure handling capability. The M1244 is capable of an impressive 144dB SPL, making it ideal for capturing transient rich signals, such as drums, guitar and percussion, without distortion.
