The Face Detection function detects up to nine different faces, enabling you to take perfect portraits and group shots. In addition to automatically adjusting focus and brightness to optimum levels, this feature also senses and removes red-eye with the auto Red-eye Fix algorithm, allowing you easily take more natural, flattering portrait shots, and without the need for further post-shot image editing on your computer. Blink Detection
Blink Detection prohibits you from taking a picture while the subject has his or her eyes closed. If the camera detects that the subject is blinking before the picture is taken, it automatically takes three shots in rapid succession to capture a picture while the eye is open.
Self Portrait
Sophisticated face recognition algorithms detect when the subject is well framed in the center of the picture and then indicates when the shot is well framed with an audible beep.
ACB (Auto Contrast Balance) Function
The Auto Contrast Balance function automatically compensates the brightness of objects in challenging light environments to ensure a perfectly exposed image, and provide more natural looking images under backlight conditions, or when there is large brightness difference within the frame.

The camera also provides 5-levels of Sharpness, Contrast and Saturation Adjustments to fine tune the look of your images even further.
Internal and Expandable Memory
The camera is equipped with 16 megabytes of internal memory so there is no need for a memory card to take pictures. The camera memory is also expandable using Secure Digital (SD) flash memory cards (also compatible with MMC and SDHC cards).
