The tripod strong and good material for use every day
I bought this tripod for my Celestron NexStar 8SE. The attachment screws line up with the base but the center locating pin is to large to fit. To fix this you loosen the central column nut back out the column attach the scope screw the column in until it touches the scope base then tighten the nut. The tripod is very sturdy features a built in bubble level, captured scope attachment screws, a heavy accessory tray with 6 eyepiece holders and lower tripod links. It's well made and will fold up for storage with the accessory tray attached.
