I bought this to use two super clamps with two light stands to make a ghetto boom and stand. I regularly have an Umbrella spigot, a Pocket a wizard TT5, a nikon sb900 and a westcott mega js apollo 50 inch softbox hanging off the end of the boom all at once. After using it, Ive inspected for wear marks on the stud and superclamps and there is very slight 'Bedding in' marks on the superclamps but I have 110% confindence in the rig being able to take much much more than I have given it...
