Expensive connector for odd connection

I needed to go from an audiotechnica boundary mic to a regular board. Due to the idiotic and money grubbing idea of making the connection non-standard, I had to spend $ for this adapter. B&h ... had a fair price. ... the reason I had to buy it was not.

I don't see specifics. Is this TA3-M to XLR-M?
Yes. It takes the line level output of the SR receiver and connects to a mixer or recorder.
