question

Will the boom arm support and Elinchrom BXRi 500 with a Elincrom 22 beauty dish? Should a consider a heftier configuration?
Asked by: Travis
i agree. i have had exactly this configutaion, and especially aligning the dish is a borderline experience. i have now bought the 085BS heavy duty boom and this is the boom you want to go for. it's really sturdy and you can adjust the angle of anything you attach via a mechanism inside the boom tube. only this boom makes sense if you are serious about working fast and secure with heavy equipment on the end. to attach a small flash head with a small softbox, the 024B is ok, but for an elc1000 or a brx 500 with a big softbox or even a beatuy dish one should really consider buying the 085BS

question

Will this work with the Manfrotto Alu Master Air Cushioned Stand (12') to hold a Lastolite 24x24 Ezybox?
Asked by: Hatef Y.
I use a pretty basic stand that came with my Dinalite kit and am not familiar with that stand. I did look it up on B and H and I think it will work.
