This is the Manfrotto 098B Wall Mounted Black Boom Arm. Unlike the Auto Boom, which may be attached to a wall or a stand, this boom arm must be attached to a wall. It telescopes out from 47.2" to 82.6" long (1.2 - 2.1 m).

I was using another major name Wall Mount Boom Arm which doesn't rotate 90 in full which is a big issue as the light sticks out when fully closed. The Manfrotto is very smooth and precise. It's a bit more expensive so I bought another name which I knew of. That was a mistake as I saved nothing. I highly recommend calling B&H and ordering the Manfrotto which comes in two sizes. In the end I bought both sizes for various needs and I am very well pleased with the Manfrotto and with B&H.
We are using this boom to hold backdrops, it's awesome for that purpose!
