The Vocalist Live Pro from Digitech is a processor that analyzes the chord and note progressions of a live guitar or MIDI keyboard performance, and automatically generates in real-time, multi-part vocal harmonies. It provides accurate, musically correct vocal harmonies even when presented with complicated songs.
Using musIQ Harmony Technology (which includes both musIQ Note Detection and musIQ Harmony Generation), the unit provides a wide variety of lead and harmony voice effects, vocal harmony styles and effects including Lexicon reverbs and delays. In addition to generating natural sounding harmonies, Vocalist Live Pro can also provide real-time pitch correction for the incoming vocal signal.
The 1U rack device can be controlled using the front-panel interface, external foot controls or via MIDI, and includes ninety-nine factory presets and another ninety-nine user presets for saving custom settings. With musIQ, the performer can finally focus exclusively on the live performance, and discard song programming once and for all.
