Acer Aspire 7720-6135 Overview

The Aspire 7720-6135 Notebook Computer from Acer is a great laptop for the mobile professional or student. The notebook will let you take your computing on the road, delivering powerful performance and giving you the ability to easily import digital media.

The Aspire comes with a software suite by Acer. You'll also find CyberLink PowerProducer, Adobe Acrobat Reader, NTI CD-Maker, and a trial version of McAfee Internet Security installed on the computer.

The system is powered by a 1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5550 CPU and boasts 3GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, a SuperMulti DVD burner, wireless Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports, FireWire connectivity, and a 17" widescreen display powered by Intel GMA X3100 graphics. Windows Vista Home Premium is the platform that ties all this hardware and software together, giving you a great portable computer for the digital savvy family, backed by the Acer name.

The Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5550 CPU is based on an architecture designed specifically for mobile computing; this processor delivers a balanced level of mobile processor technology and exceptional value in this lighter, easier-to-carry notebook PC. The dual-core technology delivers two execution cores in one CPU, giving you better performance than a comparable single-core processor.
Windows Vista Home Premium
The computer comes preloaded with the Windows Vista Home Premium operating system from Microsoft. Vista includes the slick Aero user interface, complete with the Windows Sidebar, gadget support, Flip3D navigation and more. The Home Premium edition of Vista includes the popular Windows Media Center application. This lets your computer more easily connect to your home theater and wirelessly stream media to the Xbox 360 or another compatible media extender device.
