This AC Adapter Kit ACK-E5 from Canon provides a 100-240V, 50/60Hz AC power supply source for use worldwide with select Canon cameras. The adapter kit is useful when you need to power your camera for an extended period of time without having to continuously replace and recharge multiple batteries.
The kit comes with a 100-240V AC adapter, which has an attached 5.9' DC cord. The cord attaches to the DC terminal on the included DC coupler. The DC coupler is shaped like a battery, and fits in your camera's battery compartment. A 6.6' power cord connects the AC adapter to a socket on your wall.
