The Pelco SD435-PRE0 is a high performance dome camera designed with an emphasis on providing dependable security monitoring in practically any lighting environment or weather condition. High-end security operations like banks, government buildings, financial centers and sports facilities will greatly benefit from its wide range of motorized PTZ functions. These include a powerful 35x optical zoom for bringing objects into close view, 360° of endless pan to eliminate blind spots and 256 preset positions for automated operation.
Pressurized Dome
Applying pressure to a dome is the most effective way for keeping out moisture, gases and other airborne contaminants that may enter and harm internal components. Pressure is derived from dry nitrogen, which can be applied pre or post installation. An internal sensing system will send an alert if a critical change in dome pressure, temperature or dew level is detected. This information can also be viewed on the on-screen display.
128x Wide Dynamic Range
An advanced WDR function helps the camera cope with tricky lighting situations such as harsh back light and high contrast, conditions frequently encountered in glass enclosed lobbies and parking lots.
35x Optical Zoom
A powerful 35x optical plus 12x digital zoom allows the use of a single installed dome camera to cover both near and distant surveillance monitoring.
Day/Night Function
When light levels fall, the camera auto switches from high resolution color to an ultra sensitive B/W mode, ensuring round-the-clock dependable performance.
Electronic Image Stabilization
A built-in image stabilization system prevents images from appearing shaky, enabling camera installation in areas subject to high frequency vibrations such as train stations, airports and highways.
Back Box Memory
The camera's back box has the ability to store settings and often used functions such as dome settings, labels presets, patterns and zones. These functions remain stored in memory even when the camera is removed or upgraded.
Auto Flip
Auto flip rotates the camera 180° during full tilt operation in order to keep a person or object passing directly beneath the dome displayed in the upright position.
Proportional Pan/Tilt
Pan and tilt speeds are operated in proportion to the depth of zoom. This prevents images from whizzing by in a blur during close-up zoom and from hardly moving at all when the lens is at its widest position.
On-Screen Compass & Tilt Display
An on-screen compass and tilt display provides an operator with exact camera orientation and also helps with camera positioning.
Window Blanking
Up to eight sections of the image can be blocked from view for legal or privacy reasons. A block will automatically adjust its size and shape in proportion to the camera's pan, tilt and zoom positions.
UTP Video Transmission Option
In addition to a standard BNC video interface, this camera also supports a passive UTP circuit connector. This make it easy to install the camera in buildings already wired with this type of cabling.
