Lomography HP700 overview

  • 1Description

The original teal/black-colored Lomography Diana F+ Medium Format Camera is a stylish 120 format medium format camera designed to give you a unique look with its plastic build and 75mm removable lens. This lens functions with the use of a zone focusing system that will help you get your subjects in focus quickly and easily. Also, when the lens is removed you can stop down the aperture on the camera to make a pinhole. There are even two shutter speeds to select from, a normal daytime shutter and a bulb long exposure for night and low light conditions.

The Diana F+ features multiple shooting modes for getting either 12 or 16 shots on a single roll. This is done by shooting either 2 x 2" or 1.7 x 1.7" frames. Another feature is Endless Panorama which allows you to place sequential frames right next to each other for a seamless image. Additionally, you can advance the film as much or as little as you like to take multiple exposures or other creative shots. The camera also features a shutter lock for sharp long exposures and a standard tripod thread on the bottom.

Included with the camera is the Diana F+ flash that continues with the classic look and feel of the camera as well as providing some color gel filters for getting a different look and feel from your images.

Focusing zones include 3.3-6.6', 6.6-13.1', or 13.1' to infinity
Flash attaches to the camera via a metal plug connection

    Lomography HP700 reviews

Diana F+ Medium Format Camera (Teal/Black) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great buy! I use my Diana F+ in my photography class, because it's so simple to use. It's great for creating interesting artist vignettes. The Diana creates great looking old-school style photos every time. The way it blurrs the pictures and washes out the colors a little makes for amazing looking photos. I love the color, the style, and the light-weight body of the Diana. The only thing that's a bit difficult is loading the film. The other thing is that you have to make sure you remember to manually advance the film after each shot, otherwise you'll get a bunch of multiple exposure shots. Other than that the Diana has proven to be a stylish, simple, and fun camera to have and use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ... Fun camera! I'm a big fan of lomography cameras, I own a few already but still didn't the Diana. I like the fact that the Diana F+ comes with the removable flash! It's got a cute and practical nice design. This little camera is fun to use and the best part is that it is very experimental. I love the double exposure feature and the color flashes. This camera is a lot of fun for those who love photography.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome This camera is great; easy and fun to use, and the pictures turn out so great. People give me some funny looks when I have it out, but I love the unique retro design. Light but fairly durable, a great film camera. Only drawback is that getting 120 film can be a hassle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it I love to use the pinhole but i don't know how long the exposure takes yet. And when I developed my first film it was gray... i should try with another developer. But i love it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Camera So far I'm loving my Diana +. It has taken a while to get use to how the camera works compared to some of its 'modern' counterparts. Make sure to actually take the time to read the manual and hey even read some stuff online about the best way to get the shots that you want. Overall I recommend he camera to anyone who is willing to take chances and do something different. It seems fragile to me so that's my only complaint. I always feel like I'm about to break it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So cute you want to decorate with it I am a semi professional that bought this camera as a experiment. I am still experimenting with it as I started by using it on pinhole, the trickiest mode. The camera looks great on my shelf when not in use, next to my Zorki and Pentax cameras.
