This stand is very sturdy and very solid. I am using two of these currently to suspend my Arturia MicroBrute above another synth, and a Behringer control surface above yet another different synth... so with these not all of gear fits on the table top of my workstation. EXACTLY why I bought them. They are easy to assemble. Once assembled they are strong, sturdy and solid. Take about 5 min or less to assemble. You just need a Philips screw driver. Their legs are flat and long offering great balance. Being made of metal they provide alot of strength as well. The long flat legs slide right underneath my gear. Very nice. I love these stands (again) because they helped me organize my gear all to fit on top of my workstation desktop. If you have any doubts, dont, they work great and have an excellent price.
