Ocean Matrix OMX-7200A Seamless Presentation Switcher & Multi-Standard Scaler

The OMX-7200A Seamless Presentation Switcher & Multi-Standard Scaler from Ocean Matrix is a multi-standard video to RGBHV digital scaler and switcher. It can convert component video (SD & HD), composite video, S-video, VGA through UXGA, and DVI-D signals to range of selectable VESA pixel rates. This unit can also be used as a 7-input seamless presentation switcher. It differs from other models in the same line with its K-IIT (image insertion technology) for picture-in-picture functionality, among other advanced features.

This unit features (2) parallel outputs on HD15 connectors that can be used as a graphics outputs. It uses X-Storm scaling technically, a process that digitally corrects the signal for mastering errors and regenerates the video at higher line and pixel-rate formats. This process provides native-resolution video for LCD, DLP, and plasma displays. The unit also allows for scaling of graphics resolutions to other resolutions. A chroma-noise reduction feature is also included to ensure signal integrity. Other features include a full scale ProcAmp for video and audio correction and enhancement, as well as 3:2/2:2 pull down.

The device can be controlled via is front-panel touch keys, infrared remote, or RS-232 connectivity. It is housed in a metal rackmount chassis, making it equally well suited for standalone or rackmount placement.
