The Docter Sights feature a compact open-collimating design that's lightweight and durable. The optical configuration of this sighting system provides a field of view that is dependent upon eye-relief, which is user-selectable. In other words, the operator can choose how much, or how little, of the scenario to view at any time. This is an extremely adaptable optic that's designed for blazing-fast target acquisition in close-quarter scenarios, and precise longer-range shot-placement.
The Docter's optics consist of a pair of cemented lenses. The reflecting surface is placed internally for maximum protection. The air-to-glass surfaces are treated with an anti-reflective multi-coating to enhance the overall light transmission. This sight is water-resistant; the electronic, optical, and mechanical components are designed to function properly after exposure to moisture.
The Docter is intended to be used in conjunction with a Trijicon ACOG scope. By installing the appropriate adapter/mount to the ACOG, the Docter Sight can be fitted easily into position. This dual-sight configuration ensures maximum versatility for your firearm.
