There isn't much to say about this product other than it works well. It does not feel flimsy and I completely trust it holding my various shotgun mics.

What's the diameter range that the mount can ...

What's the diameter range that the mount can accommodate? Is a 0.9" mic too girthy?

The K-Tek K-Mount Microphone Shock Mount Suspension System (Short Version) can accommodate microphones with a diameter of 0.74 to 0.83" (19 to 21 mm). A mic with a 0.90" (23 mm) diameter will not fit in this shock mount.

What is the length of the cradle? In other words, how much space does it need to grab onto the mic front to back?

The cradle of the K-Tek KMTS K-Mount Microphone Shock Mount Suspension System (Short Version) has a specified width of 1.1 inches or 2.8 centimeters.

While it will fit, I would advise to use the regular non-short version instead as it will support/balance it better, especially if you may want to use a softie type of wind protection.
