question
Using flash outdoors (flash dialled 1 stop brighter than sun), id like to reduce the blue saturation of the ambient daylight (in a colour image, not B&W) will this filter reduce/mute/gray the blue saturation? If anyone has tried this, can you please direct me to an example image? Thanks everyone!
Colored filters are usually meant to be used to change the contrast in black and white photography. If you were to use a yellow filter while shooting color, the whole picture will have a yellow cast. The best way to reduce the blue saturation would be to either overexpose the sky, or ideally in post production you can under-saturate the blues.
