Key Features
  • 3CCD Imager
  • 800 Lines
  • BNC, S-Video & Component Outputs
  • External Trigger Port
The Hitachi HV-D30 is a compact color box camera capable of generating and maintaining the level of image quality normally associated with shoulder mounted cameras contained in broadcast video facilities. This is achieved through the use of three 1/3" color CCDs along with a host of advanced picture controls. This degree of performance coupled with the camera's small body makes it an ideal choice for use in medical, industrial, experimental and similar specialized imaging applications.

Hitachi HV-D30 Overview

The Hitachi HV-D30 is a compact color box camera capable of generating and maintaining the level of image quality normally associated with shoulder mounted cameras contained in broadcast video facilities. This is achieved through the use of three 1/3" color CCDs along with a host of advanced picture controls. This degree of performance coupled with the camera's small body makes it an ideal choice for use in medical, industrial, experimental and similar specialized imaging applications.

Outstanding Image Quality
Through the use of three 1/3" CCDs - each containing 410,000 pixels - along with a wealth of electronic controls including a 14-bit accelerated DSP and a 12-bit A/D converter, this camera is able to produce and maintain the level of picture quality required in industrial imaging applications.
Single Chip LSI (Large Scale Integration)
All picture processing functions, from image capture to encoding, takes place within a single LSI DSP semiconductor chip (3,000,000 gates). The result is improved performance and reliability as well as a significant decrease in power consumption.
Auto Shading
Auto Shading minimizes chromatic aberrations (color fringing at top and bottom of screen) caused by interactions between the lens and prism assembly in C mount optical systems. Users can choose between a standard color shading mode and a two-dimensional luminance-shading mode to suit the situation at hand.
Field on Demand
An optional external trigger can be used to capture a single video frame in super high color resolution at a preset timing and exposure. This can be an important feature in medical or industrial applications needing to carefully analyze an image occurring at a particular moment. (External memory is required for continuous images)
Color Correction (Masking)
A six vector color corrector allows users to independently adjust the hue and saturation of the three primary and three supplementary colors. This is an important feature useful for precisely color matching multiple cameras, for highlighting certain parts of an image or for enhancing the flesh tone of a human complexion.
